![]() ![]() Speculations about the RP reasons aside, we can only guess why the battle ends with undying active. It is why ghouls cost gold(paying for emblament fluid and other stuff to keep the bodies from falling apart) where banshee's and lost souls cost mana.Īlso i like to think that necromancers are relucted to force spirits into there bidding(that is why the use lost once's and banshee's)īecause stealing the dead from the afterlife would piss off force's far more powerfull then any mortal want to mess with. Without the spell that keeps them on this plane they are send back. ![]() Without the necromancer power they would simply be pulled back to the spirit realm. I always imanged that summoning spirits is alot harder then reanimating corpses. You are fighting an enemy who can raise the dead.īurning the dead is one of the few ways to deny him his army. If a none necromancer wins they burn the bodies to prevent reanimation. If the necromancer wins all dead bodies(friend and foe) are send to the undead nearest town. ![]() Originally posted by Dragon Priest:I'd imagine that after winning the main battle, the victorious army might burn the bodies/ward off dark spirits (lost souls and such)/whatever else to mop up the last undying units without losing anything. ![]()
